On the low end (public, in-state) the total cost of attendance for a degree averages about $125k nationwide. For private universities, that number soars to $270k!</p><p>As corporate demand for college degrees has reduced, the supply of college graduates has increased, and coupling these factors with the soaring cost of college, this investment has become an ROI-negative proposition for many.
