He furthered his education by earning both a graduate degree in neuroscience as well as his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Del Re completed his pediatrics residency in Virginia, with research interests in child abuse detection and prevention. He also practiced pediatric medicine internationally in Uganda and Haiti.
