Dream Work _Pt 4

<p>Thursday 28th October,2020.</p> <p>Good morning, a lovely Thursday morning to you in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>We are still talking about dream work. If your dream is going to work, you have to work on it. God will help and strengthen you, but you will need to work with Him to see the realization of your dream.</p> <p>*Today, we are going to read psalm 78:70-72(NLT).</p> <p>*</p> <p>*70.He chose his servant David, calling him from the sheep pens.71.He took David from tending the ewes and lambs and made him the shepherd of Jacob’s descendants God’s own people, Israel.72.He cared for them with a true heart and led them with skilful hands.</p> <p>*</p> <p>God is telling about king David here and how he started it. It doesn't matter where you are today, where you’re positioned, how low you can be. David was a simple shepherd, common shepherd not even having his own sheep. He was shepherding his father's sheep but, in that place, God gave him this dream and what was the dream? to make him the king of the nation of Israel. He didn't just call him king. To connect what he was doing to what he wanted him to do. He said " just as you’ve been the shepherd of these sheep, you will be the shepherd of my people, Israel" and between the time Samuel anointed David and the time he became the king of the nation of Israel was fourteen years and it was fourteen years of literal torture. What do I mean? from the time he became king, and the king Saul knew about it. It was one problem to the other. He began running around the whole nation, his life was under threat, his family’s life and he was hiding around some other people joined him, some people that seemed they had no hope within the system and David became their leader.</p> <p>It was a very distressful season for David but within those fourteen years period, what did God do? through the turbulence, pains, and suffering. God was working on David, working on his skills, working on his ability to lead people etc. so that the things he learnt in those difficult years were the th
