S4: E40 Losing Your Identity

How have you been feeling? Do you feel like you are alone? Do you feel like there are pieces in your life that are missing and you can't put your finger on what it is? Just a few months ago, I realized that I was in this space. I just didn't know what was going on with me. I would look in the mirror and realize I didn't know who this person was, that was looking back at me. Of course, I know my name, but I started asking myself, "why am I here? what is my purpose? what makes me happy?" With us being home constantly, doing the same things constantly, I have realized (and I have heard from other moms) that we don't know ourselves or what makes us happy (pre or post children). So, I went to prayer, meditation, worship, reading, and researching to figure who I am and how I can help myself. In today's episode of The Latika Vines Show, I will share the four steps that I took to reclaim who Latika is and live life the way I desire and being happy as I grow in my career.  The 4 Steps to Discover Your Identity are:  Spend Quality Time with God  Write in your Journal Surround Yourself with Those Who Give You a Sound Mind Create a Vision Board based on your Happiness Using the four steps above can help you to transition from feeling like you are losing your identity to discovering who you are and being happy with your decisions. Remember, our happiness matters and our happiness should be our priority.
