Patience is an understatement

How often must we learn a lesson, just to forget it? How many times can we hear the same parable in a different wrapper? Fact is, if we weren’t so bad at doing what we say, we wouldn’t have so many different versions. I’m not saying I haven’t been patient; I’m saying it’s gonna take more time than I thought. That feels like a different thing to me. Here’s to the spaces in between. ❤️
