<p>If you would like to provide feedback to me, please use the following:</p> <p><a href="https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/EVCRUV/">https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/EVCRUV/</a></p> <p>or</p> <p><a href="https://landd101podcast@gmail.com/">landd101podcast@gmail.com</a></p> <p>In today's episode we talk feedback</p> <p>3 main types of feedback:</p> <p>Appreciation - this is all about building relationships (saying thanks)</p> <p>Coaching - this is about guiding, finding better ways to do things (see previous episode lets talk coaching)</p> <p>Evaluation - this is where you stand, what you do well, what you need to improve.</p> <p>Formative is throughout</p> <p>Summative is at the end.</p> <p>What makes great feedback?</p> <p>Its specific, timely, meaningful and candid.</p> <p>Receiving feedback:</p> <p>You need to listen, this means not interrupting</p> <p>Your responses need to be measured, if face to face be aware of your body language.</p> <p>Be open to the feedback</p> <p>Understand the message, if you don’t, ask.</p> <p>Reflect on what has been said, and decide what to do.</p> <p>Follow up.
