Governor Abbott vs. Diversity Hiring Programs

Governor Greg Abbott has been a fierce voice against diversity, equity and inclusion hiring programs, saying that these programs are not providing an equal opportunity for all. He has also pressured numerous universities in Texas, like the University of Houston, to backtrack their DEI programs. Lead producer Dina Kesbeh talks with Houston Chronicle reporter Jeremy Wallace, who has been following this story for a while, about what's going on.
