Episode 01: Introduction

<p>In this first episode, we discuss monsters in general, touching on what a monster is, how to discover their meanings, and what they mean to us and people more broadly. We touch on creatures like Medusa (Clash of the Titans), the Xenomorph Queen (Aliens), the Kuchisake-onna (the 'slit-mouthed woman' of Japanese folklore and the film 'Carved'), the Babadook, and the titular creature of John Carpenter's The Thing.
