E172 | Optimistic or Realistic

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Can you be both optimistic and realistic at the same time? I’d like to think you can. When you are realistic you are relying on the facts and reality and when you are optimistic, you are relying on emotion and feelings. When coupled together these two can be very powerful as long as you can recognize the difference. When we were young, we had the optimism to feel like we could do or be anything.
