Deliver Us From the Evil One!

Jesus in His model prayer to his disciples inserted right in the middle of it-"Deliver us from the Evil One." He clearly had such personal experience in His lifetime and now in His exalted state as the "Captain of our Salvation" lays out His role as our protector and our role as "good soldiers of Jesus Christ" (2 Tim.2:3).
