In a place out of time one of God’s own angels was on it’s way to meet with it’s creator. It knew the path well and smiled to itself as it crossed an enormous chamber of stone with high crumbling walls crept through with growing green, and a wide open ceiling that seemed to suck in all of the light from the sun. When the angel had reached the middle of the chamber, it stopped on a piece of floor inscribed with runes. The floor piece clicked when it felt the angel's weight and jerked ever so slightly, before dislodging smoothly and entirely from the floor and then shooting straight up into the air, beyond the stone chamber with the angel riding on top. As the angel traveled through the sky, it’s yellow robes whipped and snapped about as though it were a freshly caught fish. The angel chuckled at the thought of this and gazed out at the rapidly shrinking sights of an endless sky: countless floating islands as far as could be seen, teeming with life that sparkled in the sun like jewels alongside the tall shapes of both tree and made-structure dotting their tops like fine embellishments on the hilts and pommels of those infinite daggers of floating land. Well above all of this the floor piece that the angel rode upon eventually slowed to a stop, and the angel stepped out onto a giant ring of solidified cumulus. The cloud-ring was massive and nearly 10 human kilometres in diameter. Looking inside the cloud-ring was like looking into the center of a raging whirlpool, though it wasn’t water that the angel could see only clouds churning and swirling amidst random flashes of lightning and peels of thunder. It was hypnotizing to watch, and the angel was getting near to throwing itself into the raging center, until the center disappeared or rather, was replaced with a large moving image of a man that the angel knew well, Jack Allison. Though the image was mute the angel could see that Jack was —once again— upset about something, he was shaking his fist to the sky silent lips parting to mouth, “Why do you vex me so!?” At t
