Binary System Podcast #372 - Everything's on hiatus!

So that means we&#39;ve got time to go watch some of the amazing movies that&#39;ve come out lately, right? AHAHAHA no of course not, we&#39;re terrible at movies.</p> <p>Instead we&#39;re wading through <em>Book of Boba Fett</em> (can&#39;t quite recommend it) and <em>Andor </em>(definitely recommend but wow is it dark) and losing our minds about the <a href="https://youtu.be/dug56u8NN7g" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Loki season two trailer</a>. (Cue the fangirl SQUEEEEEE it&#39;s going to be so good!)</p> <p>And because we are the way we are, we also wander into tangents like the stupid <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/twitter-rebrand-x-name-change-elon-musk-what-it-means/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Twitter is now X</a> nonsense, Red Letter Media&#39;s <a href="https://youtu.be/dMsk1wc-TGQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spitballs pilot</a>, <a href="https://youtu.be/4j6JvzZ_1vo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zero Punctuation</a>, Midnight Mass, the writer&#39;s strike, the existential threat of AI, and people wanting to make TV less compelling so it won&#39;t interfere with our doomscrolling.</p> <p>First though we had to talk a little bit about the passing of Paul Reubens, and tell the story of how he became friends with our parents.
