009 - What does it actually mean to develop your character?

There's an interesting definition of character, which is: the mark that is left on you by someone else. My character leaves a distinct mark on the people I come into contact with as does yours on the people you come in contact with. So when we talk about character, we're talking about that element of our personhood that communicates our values in a tangible way. It's our values, plus our attitude, plus our actions that come out of them. So what does it look like to develop our character? Here are two of the best places to start.
