<p>We all need breaks. When I say “break,” I’m not talking about taking a few moments away from work to change a dirty diaper or drive the kids to soccer practice. We all need REAL downtime where we are able to fully unplug and step away from our obligations and responsibilities for a little while — this is essential in terms of being able to recharge and avoid burnout. </p><p><br/></p><p>As mompreneurs, we’re conditioned to feel needed all the time and that often leads us to feel guilty when we consider taking some time away from our businesses to just be present for ourselves or for our families. Even worse, when we actually DO schedule some downtime, we can wind up experiencing overwhelm when we return to work and feel as though we need to work twice as hard just to catch up — yikes!</p><p><br/></p><p>Working HARDER isn’t the key to being successful.
