Never Act Like the World

Envy, vainglory and seeking the praise of men for the purpose of pleasing yourself bring sorrow to God. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another (Galatians 5:26). You should be glad when God blesses others and never envy them.<br />But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another (Galatians 5:15). Gossip and envy will destroy you and others, so you must never make room for them in your life.
