<p>Tonight’s guest is hockey author Mike Wilson described by admirers as the “Ultimate Leafs Fan” because of his lifelong love affair of rooting for and collecting memorabilia dealing with the Toronto Maple Leafs. In fact Mike’s collection of Toronto Maple Leafs memorabilia is so vast that he had to sell most of it to the Museum of History in Ottawa, Ontario.</p> <p>Mike also serves on the board of the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.</p> <p>Mike has published two books. His first “Inside the Room with the Ultimate Leafs fan” allows readers a written guided tour through his enormous collection of memorabilia accumulated over a period of more than 50 years. His latest book “The Ultimate Road Trip: all 89 Games with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Ultimate Leafs fan” was just released today!</p> <p>“The Ultimate Road Trip” is a Kerouacian hockey journey where Mike followed the Leafs through all 89 of their exhibition, regular season, and playoff games during the 2018/19 NHL season and chronicles the ecstasies and agonies all Toronto Maple Leafs fans experience while living as loyal citizens of Leafs Nation.</p>
