<p> Friday 21st May </p> <p><br></p> <p>Fighting Prayers. 4</p> <p><br></p> <p>Any situation or circumstances in which the powers of hell are opposing you in order to ridicule you or cause you to function below your redemption right, is warfare. When we find ourselves in situations like this, we must fight to win.</p> <p> </p> <p>Settle this in your mind, THE DEVIL WILL NOT SIT AROUND WATCHING YOU ENJOY THE FULLNESS OF YOUR INHERITANCE IN CHRIST, HE’LL DO ALL THAT HE CAN TO FRUSTRATE YOU. If you don’t want this to happen, you must use all the spiritual weapons God has provided and stop him.</p> <p> </p> <p>In John 8:1-11, Jesus was confronted with a very tricky situation which was meant to be a trap. A woman caught in adultery was brought to Him to decide her fate, according to the law of Moses she was to be stoned to death. Now, When Jesus saw what was happening, He didn’t respond to the Pharisees’ question. He kept quiet and began writing on the ground. I believe He was engaged in friendship prayer, communicating with God to know how to respond to the situation, this was a classic warfare situation that demanded the wisdom of God. By the time Jesus responded to the Pharisee’s question, they all left the woman alone. This shows the power of wisdom in warfare prayer. To live a victorious Christian life, we must know how to combine friendship prayer with fighting prayer.</p> <p> </p> <p>Psalm 144:1 (NLT), Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.</p> <p> </p> <p>Luke 14:31 (NLT), “Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him?</p> <p> </p> <p>We must never rush into spiritual warfare; it could be counterproductive. It takes wisdom to win in warfare, so settle down first and get wisdom from your counsellors. The greatest counsellor is the Holy Spirit. The
