(18) The Dasam Granth

<p>The Dasam Granth, the book of the tenth master is completed. In addition to the devotional writings of Guru Gobind Singh, it contains translations of heroic Hindu epics from Sanskrit to Braj, designed to inspire a population beaten down by centuries of oppression.</p>
