I'm in caps for a reason my friend: THE SAME PROBLEM THAT WAS GOING ON IN JESUS' DAY, IS GOING ON IN THE MODERN CHURCH TODAY: CORRUPT CHURCH LEADERS WANT RECOGNITION, HOMAGE, FORTUNE, AND WORSHIP FROM GOD'S PEOPLE! WE HAVE MODERN DAY PHARISEES WHO WANT TO RULE THE CHURCH WITH THEIR MAN-MADE TRADITIONS AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS, DECEIVING THE PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY! BUT GLORY BE TO GOD, JESUS TOLD US IN MATTHEW 24:4-5: "And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many." He also said “a tree is recognized by its fruit” (Matthew 12:33).  Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets” will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect! The best way to guard yourself against falsehood and false teachers is to know the truth by studying the Word of God - FOR YOURSELF! RULE OF THUMB: Judge ALL teachings by what the Scriptures says. SINCE WE KNOW THAT THERE'S A FALSE CHURCH SYSTEM AT WORK IN THESE LAST DAYS - BE ALERT, SOBER-MINDED, REPENTANT, AND TEST EVERY SPIRIT TO SEE IF THEY TRULY ARE FROM GOD!
