Episode 30 - "Self-Love"

Episode 30 features guest Maggie Morrison, (she/her), pianist and accompanist at The Royal Conservatory of Music, pursuing her doctorate at the University of Toronto. In this episode, Maggie and I discuss her early music experiences, her career, and her research examining representation in the last five editions of the Royal Conservatory of Music, (RCM, Canada's national music standard/curriculum), piano syllabi - 1988, 1994, 2008, and 2015. Her research is approached from a feminist perspective with the intention of highlighting societal shifts through music curricula.
