Economic Weakness Vs Consumer Strength

<p>Are trends going the right way for the Federal Reserve? Canada got off their pause and raised interest rates and they had weaker inflation figures than the market expected. Bob Iaccino says that both equity and commodity markets are torn between how weak the economy will get versus the strength of the consumer. Also, crude oil tends to trade in ranges for long periods of time. Since February 2023, the crude oil price has been in a wide down-trending channel. </p><p><br></p>
