Description
Trinitarian Wicca is a tradition that blends elements of Dianic and Alexandrian Wiccan traditions with Primitive Christianity. This unique blend makes Trinitarian Wicca a tritheistic tradition, recognizing the existence of three deities, the Goddess, God, and Jesus, the Solar Lord, as equal aspects of the Divine. This is known as a social trinity, referred to as the Blessed Trinity in this tradition's theology.Trinitarian Wicca draws on the components of Christianity when it was still heavily influenced by other ancient pagan religions. During this time, before the institutionalization of Christian doctrine, there existed a wide range of beliefs about the nature of God and divinity, incorporating ideas from Gnosticism and Kabbalah. In this tradition, the Great Mother Goddess represents the feminine aspect of divinity - creativity, nurturing, intuition - while God represents the masculine - strength, protection, and guidance. Jesus is recognized as the Solar Lord, serving as a bridge between these two polarities, representing balance and harmony.Read more
