UFO or UAP?

<p>In recent years, many media outlets and UFO researchers alike have been enthusiastically presenting “UAP” as the <em>new</em> term of choice by the US government when referring to UFOs. That’s not entirely accurate. In fact, the US military was using “unidentified aerial phenomena” terminology before they used “UFO.”</p>
