Thulasi Stotram

<p>This is a prayer that is addressed to Goddess Thulasi. The Thulasi or sacred basil plant is said to be the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, who is Lord Vishnu’s consort. It is the custom to offer Thulasi leaves for the worship of Vishnu. According to the origin story of Thulasi, the plant grew from Lakshmi's hair. This Stotram was written by Sage Pundareeka who was a resident of Thirukdalmallai in Tamil Nadu. Chanting this Stotram brings peace of mind and protects one from all kinds of evil.
