Stephen Laroche interview

<p>Tonight’s guest is hockey author Stephen LaRoche.</p> <p>Stephen lives in Belleville, Ontario and has been a lifelong hockey fan and sports collectibles fan. Since 1998 he has written for Sports Collection magazines, Pro Wrestling websites, and Sports Collectibles websites. In 2004 he covered the World Cup of Hockey for Sportsology and began working for the trading card manufacturer “The Game”.</p> <p>Throughout the years Stephen has contributed innovative aesthetic ideas that have helped the sports trading card industry thrive. In 2017 he has been a contributor for the Upper Deck blog while also writing trading backs for the Upper Deck Trading card company. His first book co-authored with Jon Waldman, “Got ‘Em, Got ‘Em, Need ‘em: a Fan’s guide to collecting the top 100 sports cards of all time” was released in 2011 and in 2014 his second book “Changing the Game”, a history of expansion in the NHL was also released.</p>
