<p>Friday 23rd October,2020.</p> <p>Hello and a wonderful day to you in Jesus name.</p> <p>Well, today is not my normal devotional probably, maybe it's my deliberation.</p> <p>Isaiah 1:18 says "Come now and let us reason together ". I just want to reason with us today.</p> <p>On Tuesday the 20th of October. Sometimes in the night, I began to get calls, videos and messages about killings going on in the city I live in; Lagos, Nigeria at the Lekki toll gate end somewhere on the island and as I was watching the videos, getting the message and discussing with some of my folks that are around. It was so painful. It was extremely painful, shameful, and very disgraceful that in 2020, an elected government could do this to their own young people, defenceless young men and women protesting peacefully for a better life /future and armed forces opened fire against them.</p> <p>Matt 2:16-23 talks about how Herod sent his soldiers to kill little children, boys age 2 downwards because he felt they were a threat to his throne and government and as I saw those things, I remembered Herod. When we talk about Herod today, we don't really know anything good about Herod. Herod represents a bad person, bad government and Herod today is lineage today everything is gone. So as much as we talk about these things and look at them. My heart and prayers goes out to the families of those who have lost people, loved ones and properties. Some cars were burnt, things were destroyed etc. that the &nbsp;Lord will comfort and strengthen you in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>Understand this, God is a good of all nations. He said ask of me and I will give you the nations for inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession and if you read the judgement in Mathew 25, Jesus was saying "He will call nations before Him". These are sheep, these are goats. Judgement is a judgement of the nations because God is a God of the nations. So even though our messages go out to twenty plus nations and about five continents, understand that God is interested in
