Operation K9 Hero
~Hi~
Paglalarawan

Life is hard and it can get even harder when you are on the frontline. Whether it is abroad or at home, day in and day out exposure to trauma and suffering can wear a person's mental well being down to a thin line. In this episode, Tyler talks with Dwayne Schwartz about Operation K9 Hero and the importance of connection. Dwayne, along with his partner, a yellow lab named Tito, hit the road and visit with veterans, first responders such as law enforcement officers, paramedics, EMT's and firefighters.

The first unique aspect is Tito, the icebreaker. He asks no questions, doesn't care where you have been or where you are going. All he knows is he wants to sit quietly by your side, bring you comfort and is 100% free of judgment. And the second unique aspect is Dwayne, who has been there and done that as a first responder. He understands the frontline. He gets the road so many have and continue to travel because of the constant exposure to trauma.

Dwayne and Tito are located in Wisconsin but if you are interested in creating a path of connection closer to your home or just want to connect with Dwayne and Tito you can check out their website at operationk9hero.org or send an email to info@operationk9hero.org.

Stay up to date and gain early access to new podcasts and upcoming events by signing up for our newsletter at Coming Home Well Newsletter

Check out our other podcasts: Beyond The Frontline, Be Crazy Well

Follow us on IG @cominghomwell_bts and @behindtheservice
Facebook at Coming Home Well or Behind The Service
LinkedIn at Coming Home Well

Thank you to BetterHelp
