<p>Tonight’s guest is baseball author Mike Brown. Mike hales from Columbus, Ohio but for the past 60 years he has lived in Vermont, New York, as well as Ohio as a journalist and public relations director. He covered the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY as well as the Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown. He has won several national and regional awards for his writing in college publications.</p> <p>He presently works as a teacher and high school umpire.</p> <p>Last April Mike made his literary debut when he published “The Umpires Bunkhouse: Baseball Stories from Cooperstown’s Dreams Park” a paperback which examines the lives, travels, and travails of being a baseball umpire.</p>
