<p>Katie shares her story about her challenges growing up in a home with both trauma and happy memories. She discusses the contradictions that exist in her life and how she has brought that into her education and career goals. Katie now researches environmental justice and policy issues and uses this as a lens to view her own story. She hopes her story further destigmatizes mental health in her community.</p>
