They knew it was something worth open-sourcing when conference attendees paid more attention to the tool than the topics of the talks. </p><p>Backstage treats <a href="https://backstage.io/docs/features/techdocs/techdocs-overview">docs-like-code</a>, keeping markdown files in the same repo as the code.
