Sentiment: https://funkerman.streamlink.to/Sentiment It started in March when it became clear that a large part of our existence was being put on hold. All artists had to clear their agenda. All performances were stopped. I was immediately skeptical about the rapid return of our beloved nightlife, but even more about the inspiration that in my eyes goes hand in hand with nightlife. I started with adjusting my studio (which had been postponed way too long). In the meantime, there is a lot going on on a social level and of course I look critically at all the decisions that are taken. After all, it has the most influence on my beloved nightlife. Some Dutch artists decided to go on a hashtag mission. I think it was a well-intended initiative to wake up the world, but far too short-sighted. You can’t capture the complexity of the current problems in 1 hashtag. The artists were publicly accused. Art may in any case be intended as a means to point out something to people without everything being immediately clear. I hope I have succeeded in this in the eyes of others, but for myself I am already very satisfied. I may hear the imperfection sometimes, but we live in an imperfect world. I wanted to keep it as unpolished as
