EXPLORING OUR ONENESS

<p dir="ltr"><span class="x_1652288150highlight"><span class= "x_1652288150colour"><span class="x_1652288150font"><span class= "x_1652288150size">GOD is One.  Jesus prayed that we would be one as the Father and He are one.  We are created in the image of God in this oneness.  Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount states that our problem in not living out His teachings is that we are trying to serve two masters.  We are inwardly divided.  There is only One God and we are to serve only Him.</span></span></span></span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span class="x_1652288150highlight"><span class= "x_1652288150colour"><span class="x_1652288150font"><span class= "x_1652288150size">When we give our lives to Jesus the Spirit of God comes to live within us and He restores our oneness with God and within ourselves.  As we learn to maintain this oneness in our soul and mind we walk in victory over our fears, our anxieties, our compulsive and obsessive thoughts to not sin but to walk in obedience out of our love for Jesus.</span></span></span></span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span class="x_1652288150highlight"><span class= "x_1652288150colour"><span class="x_1652288150font"><span class= "x_1652288150size">Jesus is the Prince of Peace.  The oneness He gives us is His peace through our life journey.</span></span></span></span></p>
