<p>Sin has fallen out of favor these days, but refusing to acknowledge sin doesn't make it go away. Elizabeth looks at how ignoring sin gives it free rein to mislead - as it did with Cain, and, ultimately, to destroy - as it did in the flood. Sin is more than particular actions. The Bible describes sin as "crouching" in wait to master us, and we are easily overcome. No longer the crowning glory of creation, we become subjected to creation.</p>
