If you do not fully let go of certain pleasures, a way of thinking, relationships and societal identities you will find yourself feeding temptation, doubt and utlimately being uncommitted and somewhat hypocritical in some instances. Don't be afraid to set those open ways ablaze, do not fear disappointing people, denying yourself inclusion or destroying what you took time building. Bury it, flee from it, burn it. Don't look back life Lot and his wife or the children of Israel. God is about covenant and total commitment.
