<p><b>Thinking Like William Shakespeare</b></p> <p>William Shakespeare is the second most quoted English writer after the writers of the Bible and invented over 3000 words or idiomatic phrases. For an author and playwright once called an ‘upstart crow’ and whose works were never published in his lifetime yet later survived across hundreds of years, much to the chagrin of many-a student, quite a bit about Shakespeare is still a mystery. An astute observer of human nature, he developed word-play and acting skills from contemporary theater with historic themes, with all roles being played by men. We know of 154 Sonnets, many created during the Plague, and at least 37 plays which he directed or performed at the Globe Theatre in London, known of my both Queen Elizabeth I and KIng James I. He died a wealthy man at age 52.</p>
