The Struggle with Depression

<p>Ariel Tsai is the author of Narcissus, a poetry collection exploring, among other things, her sense of self and her lifelong struggle with mental illness. In raw, forthright, and unapologetic language which mixes the highbrow with the low and the classical with the modern, Ariel reveals the ugliest parts of herself and revels in the vulnerability in an attempt to lend strength to others who wish to do the same.
