Friday 2 July    Supernatural Interventions 2   Throughout the month, we will be talking about the Supernatural Interventions of God. It is important as believers that we understand that the God we serve is a Supernatural Being and He wants to do mighty things in our lives.   What do we mean when we say something is supernatural? Supernatural is the combination of two words; Super and Natural. The word “Natural” means, usual, ordinary, routine, physical things we see every day. But when “Super” is added to it, it means something extraordinary, unusual, miraculous, illogical, it is something that’s not in line with the normal order of things.   Let’s read from John 3: 1 – 6 (NLT), 1 There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee 2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you. 3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” 4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” 5 Jesus replied, “I assure you; no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.   Nicodemus saw Jesus and the miraculous evidence that was part of His life and said to Him, “Master, the Supernatural thing we are seeing in your life cannot be ordinary.” And Jesus said “Yes, they are not ordinary, it is the function of my nature, where I am from…”. The Bible says, “except a man be born again… of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” The first birth is the natural one we are used to while second birth is by the spirit. This spiritual birth gives you access into the kingdom of God where you can experience the supernatu
