🌿 Anger: Suppress or Restrain? In psychiatry, we talk a lot about anger management. Some say you should suppress anger—but that’s not what the Qur’an teaches, nor is it what mental health experts recommend. 💡 Anger is a normal human emotion. But instead of suppressing it, we must learn to restrain it. Suppression means pushing it down until it erupts, but restraint means channeling it productively. 🔥 There are times when anger is justified—especially when it opposes injustice or goes against the Sunnah. But even then, it must be harnessed, not unleashed recklessly. Let’s reflect: Are we managing our anger with wisdom? 🤍
