Refined in the Fire

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." (James 1:2-4) As a believer, God purifies our hearts by drawing out our sinfulness. This is likened to the refining of gold. What does he use to refine us? He uses trials(hardships). This helps to make us better Christians, and the process contributes to our growth and maturity.
