On Thursdays</span><strong>,</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">a podcast will be posted on social media and will show up in your feed if you subscribe to the Organize 365 Podcast in your favorite player.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">First up is Episode 144 - Decluttering!</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This week I talk about the first step in getting organized - DECLUTTERING.</span></p> <p>I used to see decluttering and organizing as one step because I usually do them simultaneously. However, each does have its own unique focus and objective. <strong>Decluttering always comes first. </strong>Once you decide what area you are going to “organize,” the first step is to declutter.</p> <p><strong>Decluttering means to remove what you do not want or need in a space.</strong> Some obvious things to declutter are: food, trash, or broken objects. Then it gets harder. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, right?<strong> So how do you decide what should go and what should stay?</strong> The key here is to FOCUS on what can GO, not how to organize what you want to keep.</p> <p>Listen in and get started on making 2021 your best year ever!</p>
