Ralph Carhart Interview

<p>Tonight, our featured guest is baseball author and historian Ralph Carhart. Ralph comes from New York City and is the Production Manager for the Department of Drama, Theater, and Dance at Queens College for the City University of New York. When Ralph isn’t working his day job he also devotes himself to baseball research. He has been a member of the Society of American Baseball Researchers in good standing. Last year he was the recipient of the Hilda Award awarded by the Board of Directors of the Baseball Reliquary for distinguished service to the game by a fan. Ralph has penned three official SABR biographies of baseball legends Rufus Jackson, Ray Knight, and Robert “Cotton”Williams and is presently working on the official SABR bio of Rachel Robinson, the widow of the immortal Jackie Robinson. Next week on June 24 Ralph’s first book “The Hall Ball: One Fan’s Journey to Unite Cooperstown Immortals with a Single Baseball” will be released to the public.</p>
