Nicholas Mulder on Sanctions as a Weapon

<p>Sanctions are not new, but they deliver bigger global shocks and are easier to avoid than at any time in history. Nicholas Mulder's latest book, <em>The Economic Weapon, the Rise of Sanctions as a Tool of Modern War</em>, looks at sanctions regimes of the past to better understand the implications of today's sweeping sanctions against Russia.
