Martin Jacobs interview

<p>Tonight’s guest is sports author and San Francisco 49ers memorabilia collector Martin Jacobs. Martin has been a 49ers fan since he saw his first football game in 1952 when he was nine years. For almost 70 years he has lived, endured, suffered, and triumphed in concert with the fortunes of the San Francisco 49ers. He has seen the all-time greats from Hugh McElhenny to John Brodie to Joe Montana to Jerry Rice.</p> <p>Martin published his first book in 2005 and since that time he has published four other books which mostly chronicle the history and adventures of his beloved San Francisco 49ers.</p> <p>Tonight we will discuss his latest release “The King-Hugh McElhenny- a San Francisco 49ers legend” which was released last March. It is a biography and a photographic commemoration of one of the most exciting open field runners in NFL history.</p>
