I can’t help feeling like everything is moving outside of my peripherals. I attempted to scry today, which you know is an art I have never had love for, but all I saw was bone and ash. What does that mean? Well, the problem, as ever it is with scrying, is that this could mean about fifty different things. The city on literal fire, the bones of my enemies, bones of my friends, truth in bones. </span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">No matter, I simply know better than to trust the swampwater prophecies. I wanted to see if you had taken your nose out of your books and diaries long enough to take a look around and, if not, to urge you to do so. </span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">You have more wisdom than the whole of that damn university. I don’t know why you insist on squirreling it away into books.
