Don't Settle For Crumbs - Video

Some things are so good that you could eat every crumb of it. Like fried chicken in a box, when it is all gone, there are the pieces of fried stuff on the bottom. Just touch your fingers to them and they come right to you. But you wouldn’t order just fried chicken crumbs. You would get an 8 piece or maybe a 20 piece bucket. My dad would make a pound cake and I would get a glass of milk and just enjoy even the very crumbs. But he wouldn’t make the crumbs. They would be the result of the whole cake. Like the chicken crumbs are part of the whole fried chicken. You see, what was in the pound cake or chicken is in the crumbs. Jesus went out of Israel to a Gentile area. There he met a woman who had a daughter that was severely demon possessed. This woman was, well first a woman, second was a gentile and not a Jew and the Canaanites had been enemies of the Jewish people. The deck was stacked against her. She wanted healing for her daughter and during her exchange with Jesus, she revealed to him that she understood that what was in the bread was in the crumbs, and she would settle for the crumbs that fell from the table. See how this applies to your life because you don’t have to settle for the crumbs, the entire loaf of bread is yours.
