<p>Interview with Monterey Council member &nbsp;Dan Albert Jr.</p> <p>Dan is running for re-election to the Monterey City Council. Born and raised in Monterey, Dan Albert Jr. attended Monterey public schools and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Arts and his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from San Jose State University.</p> <p>Over the course of his 31-year career in education, Dan held various positions of increased responsibility.&nbsp; He was a teacher, coach and activities director before becoming a district administrator.&nbsp; In June 2016, he retired as the Associate Superintendent of Business Services with the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District.</p>
