Confession and belief are the bases of final salvation. Rom 10:9 "that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" In order to declare Jesus Christ as Lord we must submit to Him as our Master and obey His word.
