<p>After our Fred’s venture we decided we needed to reign things in a little bit and opt for a cheaper and cheerful experience. So we escaped to Newtown for a crowd favourite Cairo Takeaway. </p><br><p>Owner Hesham El Masry has designed this Egyptian eatery in such a way that makes you feel like you’re walking through the back streets of Cairo. Picture cane tables, leather stools, crates out the front for excited diners and inside counters full of fresh ingredients and fridges full of soft drinks with an Arabic twist.
