When living in a city that has heroes and villains the real perils fall to the citizens, but as the massive fights for the fate of the city become commonplace all one can do is adapt to the situation. Arlo was one such person, as an electrical engineer for a security company he finds himself having no shortage of work, but with it came a distaste for having to clean up the messes that both sides create. When one such job has a powerful artifact fall into his hands he finds himself joining in their ranks... but quickly finds out that the grass isn't exactly greener on the other side.
