Description:There was no doubt about it: the old merry-go-round horses were tatty at best. Some had scratches, others had scuff marks, a few had gaps in their tails or manes and all of them had chips in their paintwork. Shabby!Although Mr Downs loved the wonderful, wooden horses, he simply couldn’t afford to paint and repair them all.
